Small Speckled Trout flooding The Inlets of Rivers

Inlet Speckled Trout Fishing

The Speckled Trout seem to be slowly departing the bay areas of  Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan. These trout are hitting the deep water inlet areas to local rivers. They will hold and feed on baits till its time for them to migrate up the rivers where they will hang threw the winter.
Some really great action at the Bon Secour River Inlet was reported. Most all the Speckled Trout caught were under the legal size limit. The action can get really fast paced, one after another hitting grubs, Croaker and shrimp. These fish get concentrated during this time of year from early fall threw the winter. Timing seems to be the key when to target these fish. They can be finicky and stay on a feeding schedule. I like to plan my trip using tide data, solunar times and lets not forget the barometer. The bite was really good yesterday 09/17/15 at the Bon Secour River Inlet from 1:00 till 4 pm. They just shut down. Fun while it lasted!  Contact Reel Attraction Charters and you can Submit your fishing report to be posted on Gulf Shores Fishing Reports, Orange Beach Fishing Reports or Fort Morgan Fishing Reports. Remember Boating Safety!
